Oh, and I'd really love any feedback on that picture! On the character designs, etc. So, please comment, guys! I'm being slightly hypocritical...but I get tons of fave notices everyday and maybe one or two comments |D;...so I'd really appreciate anything you could say ;u;.

Secondly! It's my birthday in 6 days! (May 16th) I'm pretty excited, whooo! You only get one a year 8D! ...|D

THIRDLYYY...So, digital art these days! I love doing it, but more and more am being frustrated by the reactions of non-deviantART people (aka, those who don't know what it is XD). I'll show someone one of my phoenixes and they'll say, "Woah, how'd you do that?!" And I'll respond, "Yeah! I used my tablet blah blah in photoshop blah blah" and then they'll say, "Oooh, I see. So you didn't draw it. kbye." And I'll try to explain, but it's a lost cause even if I bring in my most useful analogy--"a tablet is like the thing you sign with at a grocery store" |D.

It's becoming increasingly frustrating, and all the professionals and teachers I've met pretty much don't get it and tell me to move away from it. But...something about it is just so fun D:. I don't know what to do. How can we educate the world about digital art? Sure, some people use filters, and sure some programs are "cheating"...but at least the way I personally do digital art is just as hard as RL painting. I've been doing a lot more real media stuff over the last two years to make up for this problem, so I do have a pretty big portfolio of "real" art. And I can at least hold a digital picture next to a real media one and say, "THEY'RE SIMILAR, take that." but it's still annoying.

Do any of you have this problem? Any thoughts on this? I wonder how digital art can become more accepted and understood by the general world...

Oh, and lastly, I'm playing The World Ends With You and it's a REALLY great game . I recommend it highly!!
AND also, has anyone else seen the anime Code Geass? I watched all the episodes and I'm now a fan! Good stuff!!
