An assignment from an art class in which we were supposed to draw, with india ink, a contour line drawing of feet, legs, or hands, and then put a pattern of some sort using 1-3 watercolor colors. And to confuse the viewer by making the pattern underlay and overlap and generally be crazy.
Whew! So, I drew my legs and my converse shoes BD. And Fleur de Lis....because I like them. And red and gold because it's one of my fave color combos. .........So much for a deeper meaning.
But this was fun . I enjoy doing fun little things like this x3. Hope ya'll like it 8D. I'm curious to see if my watchers (aka you guys XD) like this sort of art :B.
Hehe. My legs were in that pose when I saw this. x3
Awesome perspective. I find it almost impossible to copy the same image more than once, but you pulled it off well the the Fleur de Lis. But something bothers me with the right foot... It looks like it's bent a little too much. Or it's just me. I dunno
The detail on the shoes is just... WOAH. And I've always absolutely LOVED black and white art with varying line width... and although there's red/gold in here... the main drawing is that kind of style. XD And... YOU DID IT VERY WELL YES. The contrast between the blurry watercolors and sharp pen lines is really nice. ;^; <333
This is really neat Kalli--I didn't know that you did art like this! It has a really great design appeal to it--like it could be a magazine ad or a t-shirt design. I'd love to see more art like this!
You know, they really need to make some converse with red and gold fleur de lis. Or red and gold plaid. OH WAIT. They did red and gold plaid, but stopped selling them sometime between two years ago and a week ago. Which is so sad.
This is a really awesome picture, even if it did hurt my eyes for a sec til my brain made sense of it.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
