Just a 9x12 quick watercolor study from the zoo. This little cuban crocodile got really freaked out that I was staring at it for so long and eventually lunged and snapped at me against the glass. Poor little thing. And then turned away almost angrily, still watching me with its gleaming eye. So that's why the head is detailed and the rest not as much, since he moved so drastically ^^;.

Experimenting with scale texture was interesting and difficult!

Crocodile! 8D The eye and teeth are amazing, and as are all the colours you've used C: 'tis also awesome how you still managed to get texture on the body even though you didn't get to finish it =p
