...and all I could find was the day.

My character Hati, named after the Norse mythological wolf who chases the moon in an attempt to eat it. My Hati, who plays a small role in my novel Finch, is not trying to eat the moon |D, but she is chasing what she cannot have--metaphorically, the moon in the day (let's not tell her that sometimes the moon is visible during the day ).

I really should draw her more--I think this is the first time I've uploaded her to dA? And her colors are still a work in progress |D...but she'll always be naturally colored, at least, because.....umm....I'm not a fan of the pink wolves that dA's pretty much filled with |D. I hope I don't offend anyone with that.

This was a speed paint from a photo I took on a recent trip to California. And then I added Hati to it...and it's meant to be unrefined . I should've used references for Hati, though....
I flipped it horizontally at the end because it read better O:.
