You guys must be sick of my Okami fanarts xD;. Sorry 8D;;.

Anyway, I was working on a white wolf a while ago with pipecleaners....and stopped because I got bored of it. So today, while watching TV, I picked it back up again and finished it, turning it into Ammy from the wonderful video game Okami! ^____^

She (I'm gonna call her a girl, even though she's supposed to be "genderless" =P) is made completely of piepcleaners with bits of glue on the markings. Yup, the markings are completely pipecleaner, too :).

She has a removable Divine Instrument on her back and a removable Issun that can sit on her head :D. And I made a little flower too that's seperate =P. Makes me wish I was a kid again where I would actually play with all my sculptures :(. When I was a kid....I used to make pretty much all of my toys XD.

The photos don't do it justice at all. I took like 30 photos, but I decided to only put 5 here. If anyone's interested enough, I'll put others in my scraps--ask me if you want me to :D.
Of course, she's completely poseable, like all my pipecleaner sculptures :nod:. And I made her from memory, so there's probably lots off =P.
But this was fun, and I like how it turned out! Esepcially the divine instrument and her markings :D.

Wow indeed... I wish I could do that.

I never knew pipecleaners could make something so cool. In my mind, I thought of them as useless kindergarten craft material. XD

Hm...........I lost count 8D. Something.......high xD. Umm...for the thing on her back, that took one red, one orange, and one and 1/2 green......but she herself probably took......like 8? Maybe? Or prolly 10. I dunno XD. I ought to keep track on the next one 8D;.

Yeah, I thought them useless until......about 4 or 5 years ago maybe when I was playing with some for fun, and all of a sudden (okay, more like 1 hr later), I had a 3-D panda. 8D :lol: Then I realized that I could actually make things out of them 8D! Plus, that was about the time when my parents mistrusted sculpey because Consumer Reports said it had some chemical in it that was really harmful e_e;. So....I was dying to sculpt and couldn't use sculpey.....So I learned to make do with pipecleaners xDD. I like sculpting and drawing pretty much equally :thumbsup:. hah, I have over 50 misc. sculptures, not including ones I've given away xDD. Yeah 8D. I can use sculpey again now xDDDD but I like pipecleaners more now :P. Why? Because it's kinda like a plush-sculpture--not quite a stuffed animal, but not quite a stiff clay-thing. Plus, I've always loved sculpting with wire because of my idol artist (who is my fav artist EVER), Alexander Calder ;3;, who was an amazing wire-sculptist.

I have seen many things in my life, but never have I seen a work of art made completely of pipecleaners. :jawdrop: (Well, other then your other pipecleaner stuff =P ) This rocks!!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone use pipecleaners the way you do. It's so cool. What a neat way to use pipecleaners. :D
