It was snowing this past weekend, and I decided to take up my watercolors again and paint without a sketch or without worrying about a result.  it's probably the best way to actually paint.  Although you don't end up taking too many risks this way--you paint what you know, or, rather, what you think you know.

but it's nice to mix neutrals and colors and push myself in that way.

Kind of a continuation of kalicothekat.deviantart.com/ar… and kalicothekat.deviantart.com/ar… and many others in my gallery.  for some reason the motif of hunting wolves has become a go-to for me as a subject.

. Hope everyone is doing well!  I wish I had more time to paint.  Jobs can be really draining
