Original Description: A watercolor painting of Shiranui from the video game Okami. I felt in the mood to do some Okami fanarts as I'm pretty excited about Okami for the Wii :heart:! I realized I had never drawn Shiranui, and while Amaterasu and Shiranui are....very similar XD...I wanted to try my hand at my version of Shiranui ;). And man, watercolors + Okamiish style= SO FUN!

Oh thats so pretty! I really like the diluted colours, I don't think it needs anymore shading at all ^^

Oh, that's gorgeous! It looks like Shiranui has a little smile on :3

The softness of the shading fits really well, as the character him/herself does glow, and it lends to the gentle look. But it would look just as good should you choose to darken some parts. I love the way the ink-tipped tail and the fur tufts kind of fade out, makes him/her more ethereal. I think the watercolour was an excellent choice of medium.

I'll have to commandeer my friends Wii when it comes out :E
