Have you guys ever randomly had the urge to draw a sphinx?
...cuz I did today lulz. Anyway, kinda a followup to the idea I had when I did this pic ([link]), of doing a bestiary with my version of the classical mythical monsters  .Umm...this is boring and not great (lol anatomy?!//1/?), so it'll be scrapped later, alelujah! just done for fun and really fast XD. But I want to do other monsters O:. So far, I've done the manticore, the hydra, and the sphinx...what are you guys' faves? I have an old journal with a huge list...but feel free to list any, even if I already have them on my masterrr list. Cuz I might just do the most popular choice, if there is one...? hmm. Picture is © to me. Do not use it without my permission... . |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. And yeah. I have been meaning to get a little series done of all the mythological beasts people suggest to me... but I haven't gotten around to starting it. This SO makes me want to start. It's a pity that it's night time and I can't just jump down the my floor and start painting on my watercoloreasle...
Art is so great... but... The funny thing about it is that you need light to see it. Isn't that annoying?
This one though looks really good, did an excellent job with the details. Great looking pose as well, very nicely done.
