The Big Bad Wolf

Based on the actual ending to Little Red Riding Hood, or to the Wolf and the 7 Little Kids (they're basically the same ending). The mother of the goat kids/the woodsman cuts open the wolf, saving the ones he has eaten. So then they put stones inside of him as he sleeps and sew him back up. When the wolf wakes up, he's super thirsty, goes over to a well or river, and falls in. With the stones' weight, he has no chance of survival; he drowns.

For a new direction in my painting class--I painted some bears (and thought of Goldilocks) and started moving towards fairy tales, depicting the parts that aren't focused on by Disney and popular culture anymore, but are very present in the original stories! All of them are really quite gruesome, especially in their descriptions of how the evildoer is punished.

I'm happy with how it turned out .
