Okay, huge file, but.....full-view!!

Anyway, I started making this earlier this year.....but promptly forgot about it XD. So, I finished it up tonight =P. It should be self-explainatory....soo.....

Hope it's helpful to some of you! Watercolors rock! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask here or note/email me ^_^.

Oh yeah, and here's the finished picture: [link] (it's really old now XD, but it's the only one I took pictures of while painting :)).

Picture and tutorial are © to me
Comments are truly appreciated, even though it's a tutorial x3

A VERY good tutorial. I thought it was VERY useful. :3
The only thing that sorta confuses me is the masking/soap part. xD What type of soap d'you use? D'you just.. rub.. your brush.. into the bar of soap? .-.

eee thanks 8DDD<333.
Yeah, um, you just use any old bar of soap XD. not liquid, though 8D;. And you wet the soap slightly and rub the brush against it and then get rid of the excess water from the brush.....and then use 83. I read about it in this watercolor book and because of this tip, my brushes have lasted me for many years . ........well, actually, one of them is pretty much dead.....but MOST are okay XD. So, anyway, it's not a very AMAZING thing or like awe-inspiring XD--I bet there are other ways of protecting the brush--but it's simple, cheap, and it works :).
